The Electronic Ink Solution
Electronic Ink’s system included a touch–screen application and a consolidated messaging structure than enabled real–time order management. The system also integrated with broker handhelds. Since it was based on modularity and scalability, it accommodated years of upgrades and feature enhancements.
Net Result and Impact
More than 75 percent of users reported improvement in message writing and the ability to manage orders and messages simultaneously. TradeWorks significantly increased order processing volume in the New York Stock Exchange.
