A leading American Investment Management company wanted to streamline their business processes and integrate a scalable, flexible IT system. The client was responsible for facilitating the trading of shares of its Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) product line, which involved publishing a daily portfolio listing with the NSCC.They had recently expanded offerings to include additional equity, sector, and international funds, which started to highlight the inefficiencies of their existing IT system
LiquidHub implemented a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) that comprised of a web application, workflow and business process management, web service endpoints, and core and data services. These services supported basket valuation, cash management, security pricing, corporate actions, foreign exchange rates, settlement, and collateral management
LiquidHub automated accounting functions for the ETF product line, and developed a single application for all portfolios. We helped to increase automation and enable significant gains in productivity. The likelihood of manual errors was reduced, and the user interface was simplified. A clear path for future application scalability and reuse was also provided for the client.
