Electronic Ink History
A great deal of trial and error characterizes the early days of exploration into the role of technology in our everyday lives. Initial developments were driven by the engineering prowess of technologist creators, and the first products were accessible to relatively few technologically savvy early adopters.
Harold Hambrose understood that design had an important role to play in the development of software. He established Electronic Ink, the first firm dedicated exclusively to the design of the human experience with software.
